The Film

Throughout Hugo Anderson’s 21-month painting process, Documentary Director and Cinematographer, Darryl Walthall, has been filming Hugo’s journey from Santa Monica, California to Paris, France.

Documentary Trailer – The Hugo Movie Painting trailer, Napoleon and Josephine, was first seen at Hugo Anderson’s art opening on October 17, 2009. Hugo and Darryl even revisited the Louvre to film Hugo with the original David painting for this documentary short. Once completed, this short will be entered into film festivals.
